About Dr. Lemberger

Dr. Steven Lemberger, DPM, AACFAS, completed his medical degree at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. While in attendance there he received an award for the student who best advanced podiatry. He also served as class president.

Board Certification

Dr. Lemberger is Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery in Foot Surgery.

Residency

Dr. Lemberger did a three year surgical residency dedicated to treating all diseases of the foot and ankle. During his third year of residency he was named the Chief Resident for the New York College of Podiatric Medicine and all its affiliated hospitals. During his first year of training he was named resident of the year.

Publications

Dr. Lemberger published an article on Turf Toe Injuries in the “Podiatric Medical Review.” He also published many abstracts on the topic of Rear Foot Surgery in “The Compendium of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery.”

Teaching

He has served as an adjunctive instructor at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine teaching Introduction to Surgical Principles. At last year’s New York Podiatric Medical Convention, he taught an interactive workshop on the newest foot and ankle bone fixation techniques.

Undergraduate

Dr. Lemberger is a graduate of Syracuse University.

Appointments

Dr. Lemberger is the chairman of the department of podiatry at Centra State Medical Center. Dr. Lemberger serves on the medical executive board for Centra State Hospital. Dr. Lemberger is the former director of medical education at Centra State Medical Center and continues to advise the medical education department by sitting on their committee.

Personal

Dr. Lemberger resides in Freehold with his wife Elisa and his three children. Dr. Lemberger is involved as a volunteer with multiple organizations the freehold community, including the Applegate PTO the freehold Little League and Freehold Soccer.
